In Social Studies, we become explorers of our own country. Together, we learn about things like Provinces and Territories, capitals and major cities, land formations, regions of Canada and so much more.
We will also learn about the people who lived (and live) in Canada, and those who helped discover Canada many, many decades ago. |

In Science, there are three areas of exploration: Rocks and Minerals, Light and Sound, and Habitats. Our rocks, minerals and habitat units of study, take us on a scientific exploration outdoors as often as possible. During our Light and Sound units, students learn how sound and light work through many hands-on experiments.
